Indeed! It’s the final game of the year. My playoff record sits at 6-4 after a 2-0 performance in the conference round.
Pittsburgh vs. Green Bay – The crazy thing is, this is the rare title game where I actually could see either team winning. The Steelers offensive line is bashed to Hell, and Clay Matthews is going to be getting up close and personal with Ben Roethlisberger on a regular basis. But Big Ben seems to be almost impervious to pressure at times, and the Steelers can force the Packers to pull back a bit on the blitz with a running game. On the other hand, Pittsburgh’s defense faces a Packer o-line that isn’t exactly remarkable at protecting Aaron Rodgers, but those receivers running on an artificial surface in a dome could rip apart the Steelers corner coverage. Normally, the Super Bowl boils down to a disappointingly one sided ass kicking…this is a wondrous exception.
