Holy crap! An actual, real blog post? Can it be?!
It is.
Wow, I’m really one for drama…
Okay, I realize I’ve been remiss in posting much lately. And I have a second blog set up that has been absolutely dead for way too damn long. Lack of productivity on multiple fronts kind of drives me nuts, so I’m going to go ahead and kill Tales of Avarice…and Other Stuff.
It was a nice idea. The problem is, it ran up against the fact that I tend to be a flighty gamer. I’ll play 2 or 3 or 4 different games actively all at once. Then I’ll get hooked on one, and just play that for awhile. So if I’m writing up little AAR’s and the like for a different game…well, it’s going to hit a bit of a dry spell for those while I’m distracted. And a lot of the games I do play simply aren’t set up to work very well in that format. So I’m going to kill the site. Actually, I already have.
I likely will still post little mini gameplay bits here, but they won’t extend beyond a post or two. Some will be in my normal What I’m Playing posts, only I’ll maybe do a few of them in a row for one game. Others will be “Holy shit, this game is so ridiculous/stupid/insane that it must be shared!” variety. For example, I am still going to do something like that when I play The You Testament (a game where you go through the biblical age as a randomly generated character in a game engine originally designed for a life in prison sim and some wrestling games). But no more attempts at something long form that I will inevitably move away from for something else for 3 weeks. 
Let’s hear it for simplification!
