It’s always succeeded as a show because, while it’s for kids, it contains material in it that the parents will enjoy watching as well. This might be the finest example of that. Bravo, Sesame Street!

    Lol…well done! Kids shows are getting good at entertaining the kids while throwing in little jokes that only adults understand. Shrek did that pretty well in some of their scenes. Its wise because if they can entertain kids and not irritate the snot out of the parents, the parents will let the channel stay on longer, or buy the dvd, so a win-win.
