What I’m Playing

I kinda messed up when posting something about my first dip in to the MMO world (World of Tanks) last night. It was SUPPOSED to be scheduled for Saturday, but I initially posted it at that very moment. So it does show up in the Summer Blogging Challenge Yahoo Pipes feed that James created. So if you’re here looking for that post, you gots to wait a couple of days.

That’s the price of working ahead of the curve…and forgetting about it. :)

And yes, my REAL post for today is approaching…

Yeah, I had the same problem which is why you may have seen a post under my name saying “I’m a stay at home dad”. I believe it’s google reader that does the caching… same reason PPW’s direct feed has a post named “Temporary Post Used For Theme Detection (dd818851-77da-45d8-b6bf-a8cc2a5786db – 3bfe001a-32de-4114-a6b4-4005b770f6d7)”

What I did for mine was immediately change the contents of the post to “this shouldn’t have been posted”, re-published it, then deleted it. I knew that just deleting it would leave the content cached in somebody’s feed. Anyway, just a tip for next time

Yeah, the theme detection one was from Live Writer…I decided to finally update what theme it had my WP blog using. Usually it just auto-erases that post before it pops up in the feed, but this time I guess it didn’t. I didn’t even realize it had made the feed until you mentioned it now, actually.
