Yet when the shoe is on the other foot, we all seem to forget that we completely agreed with that person (because they were right) when he/she was mocking the other country. Every time I see some Canadian in the limelight, it seems inevitable that they’re babbling some nonsense about how Americans or Brits or whoever need to gain a sense of humor, usually when someone from those countries is in an uproar over something the Canadian has said.

Yet when the shoe is on the other foot, we all seem to forget that we completely agreed with that person (because they were right) when he/she was mocking the other country.

Since when did we become such babies!? We are the ones that "Laugh at Americans" and our own politicians for that matter. Suddenly we are all offended and want to banish the Red Eye guy to the same place where the Dixie Chicks are in hiding! I say, suck it up Canadians. When we start forgetting how to laugh at ourselves or take a few punches to the chin...we might as well become...well..Americans.
