Sean : McNulty would never make it out of the chief's office...he'd spend all his time sucking down the contents of the alcohol dispensary and banging every single woman working in the building.

James : I finished Season Two...I don't know if this is the scene you were talking about, but it's my new favorite...

McNulty drives home from a bar and misjudges a turn, smashing the front right corner of his car in to a pillar. He gets out, sorta drunkenly 'judges' the turn, gets back in, reverses his car back through the turn and halfway back down the road and tries it AGAIN...sideswiping the pillar this time. He then stumbles in to a diner, orders eggs, and ends up having sex with the waitress, his crash sustained hand injury bleeding all over her pillow.

I've now watched the second episode of UFO...it is so hilariously, over the top awesome. I think the best quick description I can think of is this...

Imagine those awesomely bad supermarionation programs from the 60's and 70's, only with real people instead of puppets.

I shall continue to watch more, but I want to try and get through The Wire's second season first. Stupid downloadable TV!

I'm downloading that UFO show, thanks for the linkage.
You've given it such a good description that I absolutely must check it out.

Oh and naturally I'm in agreement with your Wire synopsis. I think everytime you mention the wire, I'm compelled to write a "oh yah, wire == teh awesome!" comment. But I can't help myself. so good!
Oh, and there's a really hillarious bit coming up with McNulty, I think it's my favorite wire moment ever, but I'll wait till your done season two, because i can't remember when exactly it is and I don't want to blow the surprise.
