Another week, and rather clearly another win.
QB – I got 65 points from Rivers after a first half where a fresh load of crap could have outplayed him. He got a good 48 point game from Ryan, though.
RB – White had 26 thanks to a TD on a horrible 14 yards rushing day. Mewelde Moore proved to be a RIDICULOUSLY good waiver pickup, scoring 73 goddamn points. He only had 54 yards rushing, but his 6 catches for another 48, 2 TDs and 24 carries got him MASSIVE numbers. I may hang on to him in case Parker isn’t back next week. He got great days from his backs, though…McGahee scored 58 on the Texans, and Turner got 42 for Atlanta. He still has Bradshaw to go tonight, as well.
Rec- I already had 130 thanks to the big numbers of Marshall and Winslow on Thursday night. Jackson put up 23 and Muhammad (I did sub him in for Addai) scored 31 thanks to a TD snag. I still have Breaston to go tomorrow. He got a great game from Gates (48) and a good one from Bowe (25), but 9 points from Walker (who has done jack shit all year) and a 0 from Davis, who didn’t even suit up, hurt him badly.
K – 17 for Lindell…the Buffalo offense is starting to struggle, which hurts Lindell, so I may make a move for a new kicker if there’s a decent one out there. He got 20 from Bironas.
D – He did get a good week, with 171 points from his D. Terrence McGee scored 44, Ellis Hobbs 27, and Will Blackmon 32 thanks to 140 yards and a TD on returns. However, for the second week in a row, my D was RIDICULOUS. 294 points. 294! Bell – 49, Hope – 31, Rhodes – 28, Davis – 48, The Polish Assassin – 38, Harrison – 51, Hill – 34. Only Porter, with a weak 14, was a let down (actually, the fact he doesn’t get very many tackles weekly has me thinking I’ll be looking to replace him, too. I need another consistent hitter, since DJ Williams is out awhile). Awesome.
All told, with one guy left per team, I am leading by an insane 245 points. If Breaston has a good game my team could break 700. Hello, 8-1!
MVP – This is a crazy hard decision this week, but I have to give it to a combo of Moore and Winslow. Kellen had a second good week in a row (actually, he was ridiculously great this week), and Moore coming through this week was big, since my running back position was in a shambles.
LVP – The only disappointing guy on the team was Porter. He just doesn’t make enough plays to rack up consistent numbers.
