All Hail not being able to sleep more than 4 hours! Huzzah!

Anyway, from the jaws of despair has been snatched VICTORY! Thanks to Lendale White punching his epic ass in to the end zone twice on Monday night, it was a close 20 point win over the Zoidbergs to rise to 7-1 and remain in first. In other news, I think I have FINALLY acquired a tight end to put in place for the rest of the year, getting Cleveland's Kellen Winslow (also knows as the only guy who did shit all as a receiver before he got hurt) off of waivers. He's expected back next week, and will be in the lineup. I've also dropped Witherspoon for Miami's Joey Porter. I HATE Porter, but you need someone you can't stand on your team...and he has 10.5 sacks halfway through the goddamn season. And Jermaine Phillips HAS been excised from the locker room in favor of Tennessee's Chris Hope.

With the new additions, and Jackson expected back next week, and a possible first sighting for Addai, I'm quite pleased about next week. I have a BIT of concern about Ben facing a tough Washington defense (and Dumbass is on his Bye, so there is no other option at this point), but they haven't been flattening QBs like the Giants.

I AM also considering putting in a waiver claim for one of the Drunk's receivers, stoner Santonio Holmes. I doubt I'd get him, since my successful claim of Winslow gives me the dead last waiver order number, but he could be an interesting get down the stretch.

Well, good God of Awesome...unable to sleep, I just checked in and found that the scoring numbers are out. Apparently, the initial Yahoo game reports were off on some of my defensive guys...Bell had 35 points, not 17 (as he made more plays). Harrison had 14, not 4, for the same reason. A few here, a few there, and despite my blunder at QB, the game is a virtual tie (he's up one whole point. One catch is worth 3 in this league, and he's up 1). So, it really is all up to the White vs. Bullitt matchup tonight. I feel a LOT better about that matchup, though, than I did yesterday.
