Yeah, Kerry has never been a particular favorite of mine, either. Trent would be solid...uhhh...I dunno, I don't suppose your league is anything like seemingly all of mine, where everyone seemed to forget Philip Rivers' existence? He's king of the douchebags, but he's also pretty damn good. Eli's also off to a good start, and might be available if you aren't in a massive league. Hell, considering Detroit's defense guarantees they'll be playing from behind all year, and the corps of guys he has to throw to, Jon Kitna wouldn't be that bad a pickup, either.

Edwards is a good name to consider. I can't stand Kerry Collins, so I won't be picking him up.

Actually, I seem to recall hearing that Ronald Curry is hurt...I know, AGAIN. Seriously, from now on I'm just always going to assume Ronald Curry is in an injured state, and be pleasantly surprised when I actually see him playing.

If Trent Edwards is out there, I'd suggest he could be worth a snag. He's looked pretty solid the first 2 weeks. Also, Kerry Collins could be a decent gamble. Titan receivers are awful, but he still manages to put up something when he's in there.

I still have Javon Walker. More because if he plays this year, he'll be the only credible big-play guy on that team. (Ronald Curry? Pleeeeeease.) And McFadden's ability might open things up for the passing game.

I didn't have Campbell last week. I picked him up yesterday when I dropped Brady. When I made the decision to start him over Garrard, I was pretty sure that he was going against a fairly flimsy defense but I could be wrong about that. I'll do a sweep of the waiver wires later this week and see who is available.

Hilariously, I had the same opponent in the other Matrix league, and he was up 60 some points heading in to Monday night. I only had 2 players left...but when those 2 players were Tony Romo (300-some yards passing, 3 TDs), and Brian Westbrook (58 yards and 2 TD's on the ground, 7 catches for over 60 yards and a 3rd score), comebacks can be spectacular. So, I ended up kicking his ass in 2 leagues.

I made a couple defensive changes...Reggie Nelson and Gerald Hayes are out, and Michael Griffin (who does a little bit of everything for the Titans) and Thomas Davis (a guy I'd thought about drafting, and who's kicking ass now that he's over on the weakside for Carolina) are in. There is an OBVIOUS trade partner for Rivers (he has Garrard and Tarvaris Jackson at QB)...unfortunately, the 'talent' level of QB is indicative of his talent level everywhere. The only guys he has that I have any interest in are Joseph Addai and Roy Williams (the receiver), and he frankly can't afford to lose either. So, for now, Philip shall remain on the bench (and, actually, with Ben's tweaked shoulder, keeping him around might end up being what I do).

Man, putting in Campbell would not exactly have hurt you this week, dude. Norwood is a gamble, since you never know if he's going to see the field, and, yeah, when a wide receiver has bone on bone going on in one of his knees, and has to be talked out of quitting by Al "Cryptkeeper" Davis before the season even starts, I wouldn't be real big on keeping him, either.
