September 11th is revered in our house.
Lily turned three on Sept 11.

James has found religion, and it makes me happy.

I'm so confused...

I want to mock his anti-spore stance for all the reasons spouted by the Reverend Clifford.

Yet, as Doctor Kyle pointed out, he his is also responsible for possibly the most insidious rickroll I've ever encountered... rickrolling his own own audience on september *freaking* eleventh, which tends to be a big deal among the zealots for some reason.

I'm sure he's doing it for his own perceived path to enlightenment angle, but still, I would buy that dude a beer. Yet he's obviously a fool.

hm....

*thinks hard*

*still thinking*

antispore.com is my new religion! Also, I renounce star trek for believing we can travel faster than god's speed limit

That was possibly the most impressive Rickroll I have ever seen. Very good!

And, whilst admitting to being duped by it, at least I'm not STILL duped by it, as the majority of commenters after that latest post on the site still seem to be. Hey, one must take their feelings of superiority where one can!

Welcome to my pain. I teach biology, including evolution, to some students who are very anti-evolution. The good thing is, if they want to stay in biology they have to keep hearing about it for 4 years. Most of them, from what I've seen, do get the message eventually that it is possible to believe in God and in evolution. Even though ignorant people on either side make the belief in both sound impossible there are some of us educated enough to see how they can combine without some kind of explosion.
