See, while I like the IDEA of working in radio, I'm not sure the reality would match up with it very well. You really don't have a ton of control over where you work once you're done school...you go where the job is. And, frankly, with my thoughts towards 90% of commercial radio well known, would I really like working there? I'd be more interested in the talk side of things, actually, than music...but still say that, considering the frequent foulness of my mouth, standard radio PROBABLY wouldn't lead to long term employment.

Currently I'm searching around, finding the best ways to actually go about a national (or international) job search, so if anyone knows of any really good sites or anything, lemme know. I will end up doing something physical, simply because I actually like getting my hands dirty, but that leaves a lot of possibilities open.

I wouldn't let the red tape and political BS get you down or discourage you if you wanted to try working internationally. Whatever it is you do and whatever it is that will make you happy you should do whatever you need to to make that happen.

Radio is cool and your not a stranger to weird hours. I know Rob Murray is still working down in Canmore for their radio station. I saw him this past summer. He's on the morning show there. He loves it. He did the NAIT thing.

But like James said whatever you do and wherever you go we support you. I was going to say we Salute you but I'm not saluting school, I fucking hate school.

Well, I think you need to suck some serious dick to become a director, and I simply won't subjugate myself like that for anything less than several hundred dollars. You seem to need that 'education' stuff for anything radio oriented. I do not pull off the 'full beard' look well, at all...any of the other 3 are winners, though! Maybe I can be a miasmic psychoanalyst mayor?

Oh, and I demand any visits to where-ever I go be via boat and/or train! I shall bring back old fashioned travel! :)
